Georgia Electrical Contractor Exam

Exam Breakdown

To obtain an electrical contractor license in Georgia, you must pass an exam administered by PSI. The exam fee is $30. After submitting the required paperwork and application, the licensing board will notify you within 45 days if you are approved to sit for the exam.

  • Class I Exam: Includes 15 pre-test questions and a total of 155 questions.
  • Class II Exam: Includes 22 pre-test questions and a total of 162 questions.

Both exams are open-book, consist of multiple-choice questions, and require a minimum score of 70% to pass.
