Full Spanish language support is live — UI, practice questions, and study materials.
Studying for the NEC exam is hard enough. Doing it in your second language — while parsing dense code references written for native English speakers — is a barrier we've heard about from day one. Today, we're knocking it down.
Dakota Prep's NEC Exam App is now fully available in Spanish.
We didn't just run the menus through a translator and call it done. Spanish-speaking electricians get the same experience English speakers do — just in their language:

Roughly one in four construction workers in the U.S. is Hispanic or Latino, and a meaningful share of working and aspiring electricians study and think in Spanish first. Licensure shouldn't depend on how comfortable you are translating "ampacity" on the fly.
The exam itself is offered in Spanish in places like California and Texas — and several other jurisdictions across the country. If that's the version you're sitting for, you should be able to prep in the language you'll actually be tested in. Now you can.
We built this so the path to your license depends on what you know about the National Electrical Code, not how fluently you read English on test day.
If you're more comfortable in Spanish but plan to take the exam in English — or vice versa — studying the same material in both languages is a great way to build vocabulary on both sides. Same questions, same explanations, two languages. Whichever version you sit for on test day, the concepts will be locked in.

Aproximadamente uno de cada cuatro trabajadores de la construcción en EE. UU. es hispano o latino, y una parte importante de los electricistas en activo y los que aspiran a serlo estudian y piensan primero en español. Obtener tu licencia no debería depender de qué tan cómodo te sientes traduciendo "ampacidad" sobre la marcha.
