Guide on How to Connect Your Account

Exciting news. After countless requests from our community, we’re finally bringing Dakota Prep to the web on November 2. You’ll soon be able to study for your Red Seal, Journeyman, Master, or Contractor exam right in your browser with the same questions, practice modes, and detailed code walkthroughs available in the app.

To make sure everything transfers seamlessly, you’ll need to link your existing account. This ensures your progress, stats, and exam history sync automatically between the app and the web.

Step 1: Open Your App & Go to Your Profile

Open the Dakota Prep app on your mobile device & tap the Profile icon in the top right of the Study screen.

Step 2: Link Your Account

‍

Under your Profile, choose one of the following options to connect your account:

• Continue with Google
• Continue with Apple
• Sign up or log in with Email

Once you complete this step, your account will be officially linked.

Step 4: Confirm Sync

‍

When your account is linked, you’ll see your email or login provider appear in your profile.
That means your progress, stats, and exam history will automatically sync when you log in on the web.
